These cottages are in the vast site of Hakodate Onuma Prince hotel.  The area is designated as the Onuma quasi-national park.  I stayed here for 3 days and enjoyed scenic beauty and hot-spring, "onsen".  Although some clouds were seen in the south side, many stars including the Summer triangle and milky way could be seen from here.
