Cute medieval chapel under the patronage of St. Catharine, whose life is depicted in one of several series of late medieval frescos at all fours walls. The architecture is very simple, but the frescos create a unique athmosphere. There is a lot to see on them. The life of St. Anthony is destroyed and also of Mary Magdalen and a fresco of the Last Judgement. Well preserved is the life of Dorothy, the life of St. Mary, the Passion, the martyrdom of the ten thousand martyrs of Mount Ararat, the twelve apostles and other saints. A visit of this chapel is certainly worthwhile. It is owned by the city and used by several churches; the old-catholics in the Oberaargau assemble here monthly for Eucharist.
