Schedules of the Archaeological Museum of Albacete. Abelardo Sánchez Park. The Archaeological Museum of Albacete, inaugurated in 1978, houses collections of different epochs: prehistory (paleoitic and neolithic); Protohistory (Iberian art); Roman art; Medieval (Visigoth and Arabic) and modern (16th century). In addition, a collection of Fine Arts in which are deposits of the Prado Museum, Museum of the Trinity, and the donated work of the Albacete painter, Benjamin Palencia. It has a section of pictorial and sculptural work of Albacete and La Mancha artists from different generations of the twentieth century. Other sections are numismatics, ethnography and documentaries. It has an auditorium where annual conferences are given.
