Summit cross of the Schafberg (1783 m) mountain in the Salzkammergut, Salzburg, Austria. The Schafberg is a popular panoramic mountain with a magnificent view over the landscape and lakes of the Salzkammergut. A cog railroad has been running to the top of the Schafberg since 1893, which is why the mountain is a popular tourist destination. There is the train station and a hotel on the summit, so the summit cross is located on a smaller secondary summit, 1740 m above sea level.
