Continuing the walk along the edge of the Lost Canyon in the Peruvian desert, locally known as the Cañon de Los Perdidos. The canyon is indeed totally lost in the extremely dry coastal desert (Desert of Nazca), south of the city of Ica. Here the canyon is getting wider and sandy slopes have replaced the rocky walls, as we are reaching its southern end - and as it meets the Rio Ica (Ica River).
