View from the fromt of Pennsylvania Castle in Portland Dorset. The castle was built in 1800 and was privately owned until it was turned into a hotel for a period. It is now privately owned again. It was built for John Penn the grandson of William Penn, the founder of Pennsylvania in the USA. It is alleged that Churchill and Eisenhower planned part of the D-Day invasion here.
