Known as the "Grand Canyon of the Mojave", Afton Canyon is located in the remote desert near Baker, California.  The Mojave River flows through here, being a trickle this time of year.  Impressive slot canyons, badlands, cliffs, & historical artifacts are found throughout the region.  This view is from a deep slit on the badlands w/ cliffs of compact mud & silt rising nearly 200 feet up.
