Crack Canyon Slot, San Rafael Swell, Utah, USA
Utah

Crack Canyon in the San Rafael Swell, Utah, USA.  This image was taken about 1.25 miles into the canyon in one of the more prominent slots.  The trail follows the creek-bed through the entire canyon and as the creek flows during rain storms there isn't a maintained trail.  The 2ish mile hike down the canyon is relatively easy and very scenic.  I don't believe the trail continues to anywhere in particular so you will likely be hiking out the way you went in.  Avoid the area during heavy storm conditions as flash flooding is common and in many places in the canyon there is no way to escape quickly to higher ground.
