Song Festival is probably the most monumental nationwide cultural event in Latvia.

Every four years amateur choirs, after months of diligent rehearsals, get together from all over the country to unite in one single singing organism. Held last time in summer 2008, the open-air stage at Mezaparks welcomed some 12 000 singers with the most stunning a Capella performance one can ever imagine.
