世纪广场区域位于长春市“双心三翼”城市发展战略的东南发展翼，地处长春市中心城区和净月开发区的交界点上，同时是长春东南去往龙嘉机场的必经之路，另外也是城市内外交流、人员往来的重要转换点。
"世纪之声"由21根白钢巨柱组成。每根柱高38米,直径为1米，钢柱上伸出100个树枝。同时,21根巨柱呈扇面展开,象征新世纪的生命之树植根大地沃土,寓意伟大的中华民族必将在新世纪跻身于世纪强国之林。
每根巨柱上挂着100只编钟,共2100个。随风摇曳,发出悦耳的金属之声。这根植古老中华文化的编钟之音好似在呼唤中国人民奋发图强,永远向前进。
