Zephyr Point sits on the south east side of Lake Tahoe on the Nevada side. Lake Tahoe is one of the clearest and cleanest lakes in the world. Up until just a few years ago, many communities pumped their drinking water straight out of the lake untreated. Lake Tahoe is over 1500 feet deep (450M). Lake Tahoe sits at 6200 feet (1900M) above sea level. With this depth and elevation, the water temperature remains very cold year-round. This dock is located on the private grounds of the Presbyterian conference grounds, built in 1925.
