The Reflecting Pool is located at the foot of the Lincoln Memorial and ends at the World War ll Memorial more the 2000 feet up the Mall.  The reflecting pool has been seen in many historic photos and serves many functions from ice skating rink in the winter to a training pool for many duck and geese chicks each spring.  So if your going down to the Reflecting Pool bring some bread for the chicks.
