Portpatrick Mora bay
Scotland

Mora bay is the landing location of the old Portpatrick to Donaghadee Submarine telegraph. On may 23rd 1853 the William Hutt made its way close to the shore at Mora Bay where the cable was soon landed. The telegraph station still exists and can be seen in this image. Some remains of the cable can be found around the beach area.
