The Village of Avdou located in the middle of the verdant valley of Lagada and produces mainly oil. The village is full of life especially in the summer where the population rises. This happens as the locals always return honored place and honor necessarily events organized by the Educational and Cultural Association of the village.

Previously the village were a lot more people. Over the years, however, new migrated to urban societies and remained there unsurprisingly mostly only the oldest female locals. Meanwhile every weekend and during festive periods village reminiscent of the old days.
