Mt Speculation
Victoria

This view is of the treeless summit of Mt Speculation Alt:1666m,

This peak forms part the northern point of a geographic feature called the Cross Cut Saw,
This feature is an alpine ridge, whose profile resembled a cross cut saw,

Winding along this ridge is part of the Australian Alps Walking track - a 670km walking track linking Walhalla in Victoria with Canberra, ACT.

The scrubby peak to the SSW is Mt Buggery - Alt approx 1600m,  A name many a hiker can relate to after climbing its slopes.

Beyong Mt Buggery to the South lies the rounded hump of Mt Howitt, Alt 1738m,

A small refuge hut, Vallejo Gantner hut for walkers sits to the East of Mt Howitt.
