hands all around
Out of this World

Hands up! -  it’s over, I made it! :) Here you see a handmade madness full of hands, or as my friend called it, the apocalypse of hands. Don’t forget to view this one in “Little planet view” that’s a lot funnier then proper view (left click on a panorama). So I guess next one should be about feet ? :)

This was made out of four separate images, two were used for up and bottom, while other two for all horizontal view (it could have been one for horizontal, but i started out drawing on a4 and didn’t counted for correct proportions I need, so I had to use two pieces of paper). It’s hard to write about techniques used to make this because I used quite many of them.
For those who care I used following hardware or software to assist me in one point or another: rotring’s isograph 0,1mm, pentax kr, 2x unknown scanners, photoshop, (hugin, ptgui), pano2vr, and even ms word for spelling :)

More About Out of this World

The planet Earth has proven to be too limiting for our awesome community of panorama photographers. We're getting an increasing number of submissions that depict locations either not on Earth (like Mars, the Moon, and Outer Space in general) or do not realistically represent a geographic location on Earth (either because they have too many special effects or are computer generated) and hence don't strictly qualify for our Panoramic World project. But many of these panoramas are extremely beautiful or popular of both. So, in order to accommodate our esteemed photographers and the huge audience that they attract to 360Cities with their panoramas, we've created a new section (we call it an "area") called "Out of this World" for panoramas like these.Don't let the fact that these panoramas are being placed at the Earth's South Pole fool you - we had to put them somewhere in order not to interfere with our Panoramic World.Welcome aboard on a journey "Out of this World".

It looks like you’re creating an order.
