Emperor's Hall (1265) 天子殿
China

Emperor's Hall:

Emperor's Hall was first built in Western Jin Dynasty and named as "Qian Zhu Dian". In the Tang Dynasty, it was called "Gods 'Temple", and in the Song Dynasty, the name was first changed into "Jingde Temple", later "White Crane Temple", and finally "Fengdu Temple". In the early Qing Dynasty, it was named "Yanjun Hall", later "Sun Hall" and eventually "Emperor's Hall", which is still in use today.

Emperor's Hall is the place where the emperor of the underworld works, and is the throne romm of the underworld. In the Hall, there are the statues of the emperor, the empress and the civil and military officials. Civil officials include the four judges, and the assistant officials in the Six Ministries. Military officials mainly include the commanders in chief of the underworld. At the gate of the Hall, the two generals, General Eagle and General Snake, the Chicken Feel God. and Hei Wuchang and Bai Wuchang are guarding there.

The statues in the Hall are unusual and majestic, and the horizontal inscribed board and the couplet hanging there are awe-inspiring, representing the culture of praising the good and punishing the evil of the ghost town.
