Iztuzu beach is a narrow spit of land, which forms a natural barrier between the fresh water of the Dalyan river and the Mediterranean. It is one of the main breeding grounds for caretta caretta sea turtles. Iztuzu beach is also known as “Turtle Beach".

Dalyan has been chosen as the best beach destination in Europe (2011). according to a research carried out by zoover and meteovista.
