Outside of Borrego Springs, California, USA are over 130 metal sculptures sitting in the desert. The horses’ sculpture, shown here, is just south of town. Dennis Avery, late owner of Galleta Meadows Estates, commissioned artist Ricardo Braceda to make the sculptures. The fanciful sculptures range from horses to dragons to scorpions. The sculptures are now managed by the Under the Sun Foundation. Borrego Springs is less than two hours east of San Diego, California, USA.
