Barra de Maldonado. You can see the bridge built in 1965 by Leonel Viera, that connects Punta del Este and the Barra de Maldonado. Due to heavy traffic for the same in 1999 one second land bridge is constructed identical to the previous one, in order to have two bridges, one round and one back with two lanes each.
