September 2011. Outside the remnants of hurricane Katia are still blowing, I can't keep my balance, so we are sheltering inside the porch of the Old Church of St. Stephen looking across the graveyard towards Robin Hoods Bay on the North Yorkshire Coast. The present church dates back to 1822 but there has been a church on this site since Norman times, sheep graze amongst the gravestones, hence the wire fencing.
