Tiny Towers Near Corona Arch Two
Utah

The tiny towers were built, and are maintained by the little people that inhabit Canyonlands National Park near Moab, Utah.  These inhabitants live in high caves and niches that hang over the valley.  Little people are nocturnal, and almost never observed by big people.

Hiking purists frown on the tiny towers since they could be confused with legitimate trail cairns.  Standing by a trail cairn, a hiker should be able to look back at one just passed on the trail behind them, and look forward to a cairn on the path forward.  These are especially valuable if the ground is covered with snow, or the visibility is poor.

Like the huldufólk (hidden people) of Iceland, the elves of Utah are heedless to park regulations.
