It is located 3 km to the north of downtown Tarsus District, Mersin, on the north of the dam reservoir on Berdan River. Berdan River forms a waterfall of 4-5 meters high. During the Roman Period, the river crossed the city center and the area near the fall was used as a necropolis. About 20 rock-cut tombs can be seen around the waterfall. When the flow of the river decreases in summer, tombs made under the waterfall become visible as well.
