The Puyehue volcano is in the region "Los Lagos" in Chile, very close to the border to Argentina. The cauldron is 400m below the rim and covered in snow. It was an extremely hot day with almost 30°C after sunset. Towards the South you can see Volcano Osorno and Cerro Tronador; towards the North Volcano Lanín.
