I liked this view of the ruins because it captures nicely the overlay of modern Ollantaytambo on the ancient Inca city. The base courses of the buildings are Inca masonry.  This stonework is still an integral part of the more substantial aspects of the town.  More ephemeral modern buildings and a couple of moto-taxis are located along the river and in the distance the famous ruins climb the valley's edge.
