Kleymenovo village Athanasius Feta estate Church of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin 3
Russia

Kleimenovo village, Oryol district, Oryol region, Russia. Kleymenovo village (Pokrovskoye, Skorodnoye, Skorodna). Church of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos. The brick single-domed church, topped with a decorative five-domed church, was consecrated in 1890, restored and returned to the faithful in 1991. Architect Alexander Alexandrovich Himets, architect-restorer Mikhail Borisovich Skorobogatov. A tombstone tomb has been built at the church, and the famous Russian poet Afanasy Afanasievich Fet (1820-1892) is buried in the crypt under the temple.
