The most famous and one of the ancient springs of the Tver region, of course, is Okovetsky holy spring, which is located near the village of Okovtsy. Since it involves a lot of legends and stories of miraculous healing. Throughout the year people come here from all over the expanses of Russia, to drink the healing water from a source, and a dip in the swimming baths constructed here. Notably, the water temperature throughout the year is 4 degrees.

Okovetsky key rises from a depth of over 900 meters. The reservoir spring was taken to the stone well at the bottom through which the river shingle has several fountains spring water. In an open gutter water from the well flows into the nearby river Pyroshni.
