Shortly after leaving Girvan on the road to a small village called Barr, there is a wind farm that is open to the public. A quick read of a warning sign just before going down a track through some farm land states a small set of rules that should be followed for safety reasons. Close to turbine 18 a carpark exists with the best views over the wind farm.
