Like many South East Asian Cities, Jakarta containes some of the greatest contrasts found anywhere in the world. Ferrarie cars and clapped out busses, Harly Davidvidson motorcycles and hand carts, back lanes that could be in any country town and super elevated highways. The city has seen massive urban regeneration in the last twenty years. Slowly the small communities which made up the city are being replced by towering skyscrapers.
