An aerial summer evening view above the historic market town of Todmorden, which nestles at the meeting point of three valleys in the south Pennines.
Traditionally on the border of Lancashire and Yorkshire, since 1888 Todmorden has been part of the West Riding of Yorkshire. Road, rail and canal all pass through Todmorden in the upper Calder valley and can be viewed here.
