Kaohsiung 85 Sky Tower
Kaohsiung

Ranking next to Taipei 101 in height, this sky tower has become one of the landmarks in Kaohsiung with a distinctive architectural design. When the night comes, the special lighting effect makes it a major night attraction.

The sky tower owns the second highest observatory in Taiwan and the second fastest elevator in the world with a speed of 600m/min., allowing the elevator to arrive the observatory in the 75th floor, which is about 300 meters high, in 43 seconds.
When the elevator reaches 120 meters high, the lights inside the elevator will present in ways that makes you feel like standing under the sparkling stars in the sky. It is a refreshing experience to appreciate the magnificent views of the sea and the city at the observatory. When visibility is high, you can even see Siao Liouciou out in the offshore area of Pingtung. The best time to visit the observatory is at sunset. It will be a more exciting experience if you dine in the restaurant here!
