Visible from almost everywhere in the town of Scarborough is, Oliver's Mount. Atop its wooded slopes can be found the town's war memorial which dominates the skyline. Oliver's Mount offers panoramic views of the town, the castle headland and the North Yorkshire coast but is probably best known for its road racing curcuit, with motorcycle racing dating back to the 1940's.
