Tasman Lake in Mount Cook National Park. Located in the South Island of New Zealand at the foot of Mount Cook. Tasman Lake was formed by the receding Tasman Glacier. Sediment from the glacier is washed into the lake and filters down the Tasman River into Lake Pukaki giving it a bright blue appearance.
