In this valley we can see RioCabril, a tributary of the Cávado River in the Salamonde reservoir

Although far from its preferred area, the olive tree is also grown in Alto Minho. Their food importance determines this and the villages' closed economies had to adapt, buying as little as possible from the outside and producing the maximum of consumer goods inside. The Olas mill, as well as the Pincâes mill, are a memory of that economic reality in which money hardly circulates.
