Fluelen is at the South-East end of Lake Luzern, Vierwaldstadtersee, a beautiful lake in Central Switzerland surrounded by mountains.  From Flüelen, you can take a stunning three hour boat ride across the lake to Luzern. The passenger ship in the harbour is a classical steam boat which is used for the purpose.
