Overlook of Mount Shasta from above Heart & Castle Lakes near Mount Shasta City, California. Nearby are the granite towers of Castle Crags. As you look right of Castle Crags, the basin directly below this spot was the approximate site of the 1855 Battle of Castle Crags b/w Native Americans & white settlers.
