The Main Street of Vipiteno / Sterzing called "Neustadt" (New Town) is lined with nice little shops, restaurants and hotels. During the time of the Christmas Market in December lots of houses´ and other buildings´ silhouettes are illuminated. On one end of the street the "Zwölferturm" (free translated: Tower of Twelve) markes the entrance into the old town. The market square is located right after the gate. In December the Christmas Market is held there.
