Brightly-coloured houses on the shore of Disco Bay in Ilullisat. To the north you can see the hospital; just east of the hospital is Zion’s Church (Zionip Oqaluffia in Kalaallisut) . To the west icebergs from the Ilullisat Icefjord drift out into Disko Bay. Fittingly, Ilullisat means "iceberg" in Kalaallisut. 

Ilullisat used to be known as Jakobshavn, its colonial name.
