The heron statue has now become iconic for the Colne Valley Park and it is located just outside the Colne Valley Park Visitor Centre. It is a statue by Mrs Gay Musty and was previously placed in Thorney Park in 1993 before being relocated to Denham Country Park to commemorate the Colne Valley Regional Park 40th anniversary in 2005
