Maklaki. Abandoned church. Interior. (2010)
Kaluga Oblast

Кн. С. Н. Львов выстроил в 1808 -11 каменную церковь взамен старинной деревянной во имя Знамения Пресвятой Богородицы, Церковь - редкий памятник архитектуры эпохи раннего классицизма с двойным куполом, внутренний из которых украшен деревянной резьбой. Колокольня не сохранилась. Трапезная, примыкавшая к храму, сгорела во время Вел. Отеч. войны, но кирпичный каркас её цел и прочен. Церковь действовала до 1937.
