The wreck of the Peter Iredale at Fort Stevens State Park
USA
The Peter Iredale was a steel-hulled sailing ship that wrecked on the beach at Clatsop Spit in October 1906. It is one of over 2000 vessels known to have wrecked in the "Graveyard of the Pacific" that stretches from Tillamook Bay to the north tip of Vancouver Island.
