Jagsthausen Castle goes back in its medieval beginnings to the lords of Husen and has been rebuilt and expanded several times. Today it bears the name Götzenburg Castle in reference to Goethe's drama Götz von Berlichingen. The castle is family owned and is currently inhabited by Alexandra Freifrau von Berlichingen. Even Roman Herzog, former German Federal President and husband of Alexandra Freifrau von Berlichingen, lived here in the last years before his death.
