このパノラマは、ピンツガウからミッテルシルまでの下り坂で撮影されたもので、アルプスの悪天候であっても、アルプスの良い面を引き出すことができることを示しています。グロスグロックナー山塊やグロスヴェネディガー山塊では、山が雲と霧に包まれ、谷間の家々では最初の明かりが灯ります。撮影中、終盤には少し雨が降り出したが、カメラとモーターヘッドは防滴仕様になっているので、ある程度の雨には十分耐えられる。
