An unforgetable boat ride down the Ganges, watching the sunrise. This is a place I've wanted to visit for so long, having missed it the first time I was in India. Its hard to express the lives and spirituality of the Hindu people in words. Its something to be seen and felt. The activity going on along the banks of the river... from people blessing their children or performing daily prayers in the water, to the burning of dead bodies on sandalwood pyres and the dumping of dead bodies overboard into the water. Tourists look on in complete bewilderment. India is intoxicating.
