One of the many stops on my cycle ride along the ridge above the Valle de la Muerte near San Pedro de Atacama in Northern Chile. The bizare desert landscape gets a contrast of green thanks to the river that flows through it. Down in the valley the Quebrada del Diablo (the Devil's gorge) takes you many kilometers through the strange stone formations.
