Памятник Николаю Жукову
Russia

Памятник Николаю Николаевичу Жукову (1908 – 1973) – народному художнику СССР, члену-корреспонденту Академии художеств СССР, Почетному гражданину города Ельца, был открыт 12 сентября 2008 года накануне 100-летия со дня его рождения. Автором скульптурной композиции стал Александр Таратынов. Монумент удачно вписался в ансамбль старинной Торговой улицы (современной улицы Мира): на скамейке молодой Жуков рисует с натуры дочь Арину, а рядом стоит мальчик – Никита Михалков, сын друга художника - Сергея Михалкова.
