With the blessing of His Grace Bishop Zica G. Chrysostom began with construction beginning September 2006. year. After the prepared land that is donated to local villages, Mr. Dragisa Stamenić was selected and verified for the construction of the temple committee. Was elected president Radovan Stamenić Raso, resident who lives and works in Bašta. We have prepared a project that was done Damnjan Zloporubović, a civil engineer from Bajina Basta. His Grace Bishop Žički G. Chrysostomos has approved the project and we started building the foundations of the church and steeple consecrated 29th October 2006. year. In the meantime we have prepared material for the building of the temple which is installed in the 32,000 bricks. The roof is made of pine and covered with shingles inpregniranom.

With great effort we went to the temple lining treated with cut stone. Praise God and thank the people of this region, we have managed the project to finish this work. Helping people as much in his features, but it is not enough because now we remain the finest and most expensive interior work on the interior of the church: St.. the altar and the rest of the church, the iconostasis with icons, electrification, lighting, flooring, chandelier, and lots more.
