S.Torcato sanctuary. The construction of the current church S.Torcato, near Guimarães, began an international architectural competition in 1866, which won a project of the architect Ludwig Bohãstedt (1822-1885). The work began in 1879 and was initially accompanied by Cesario Pinto engineer (1825-1896). Architect Marques da Silva took care of the work while still a student in Paris. Official end of the construction of this temple was in 2015.:-)
