Hardheim is located on the northeastern edge of the Neckar-Odenwald district in Baden-Württemberg. Hardheim Castle, also called Upper Castle, is built in 1561 in the center of the community. The almost square mostly three-storey property is flanked on the input side by two massive corner towers, have the same height of the eaves and are now provided with the Baroque dome. Entrance is via a stone bridge.
