Cave Rock on the Nevada side of Lake Tahoe is a famous landmark with history dating back to the early road builders at Lake Tahoe who bores through the monolith to connect the early wagon road. The ealiest version of the road was a wooden catwalk around the rim of the cliff. This panoramic was shot at a lookout point about a mile north of Cave Rock.
